an open letter to my friends and family
most of you know i have been pretty frazzled lately. getting my baby ready to start school...getting ready to go back to school myself...dealing with general life stuff...just basically trying to keep it together.

i just wanted to take a moment to show some much-deserved appreciation to my family and my friends. you guys don't always know it...but by being there for me to talk to...whine to, sometimes...listening to me rant about the same things over and over and over again...you don't always know how important to me you all are. some of you are able to make me smile...laugh...a few of you have helped to save my sanity (at least that's what it feels like) on more than one occasion.

so to my friends and my family...thank you. my brother said recently that the main difference between a family member and a friend to him was a blood relation. and for my closest friends, i feel the same. but ya know, some of you i'm glad i'm not related to...that could be awkward, huh? (LMAO...yeah, you know who i'm talking to...*snOrt*)

you all make the difference to me. your friendship, love, and support gives me the mental strength to prepare my child and hopefully myself for whatever may come from here.

so from the bottom of my heart....thank you all.
